Search/CTRL+F disabled + site search function?

Crtl+F seems to be inherently disabled for this domain. Is there some setting to re-enable native browser text searching? Also, why is there no site-wide search feature for this site-- can we please get one? Thanks!

edit: this is definitely some optional account setting - I can use ctrl+f when logged out of my account using both chrome and firefox but the function doesn't work when logged in.

Any ideas, admins?

@naamit Ctrl+F working just fine here, windows + chrome.

@ordim weird...I am on windows 7 and chrome as well. Ctrl+F works fine for other sites even within the same window and session, which leads me to believe it's an optional site setting then. I'm not finding any option in account settings regarding disabling of text search function.

What browser? Works fine with Firefox as well.

BIG Thanks to whoever fixed this!! Looks like the changes yesterday resolved the issue - I can now use CTRL+F on thread pages. The appearance of the search box, which is different from native Chrome, confirms the issue was being caused by some setting of the site rather than my browser. And the option to enable/disable is now appearing in my account Settings too!
