One important caveat to note is that if the item that you are getting a price quote on is scripted and the price seems very high, use the BUGITEM command, targetting the item in question, with the problem description: "Please review item script cost for weighting/padding/sighting". If your item script is less than auction quality and especially if it is just a fluff script, there is a good chance that once we review it it, it will be less costly to add weighting/padding/sighting to.

It seems cost-prohibitive, like so much so that not enough people will use it, and it'll kind of offset all the work and time they put into it.

Does anyone have 17.5M bloodscrip I can borrows? Really would like to finish my axe.

Even using just 5 services at a time for HCW , it will cost 16.5k BS. Not to mention that would take 5 years. Seems pretty overboard, and not by a little.

This doesn't even take in to account that the price scales as you add padding.

No, it doesn't. The amount of weighting/padding on the item is not a factor. All factors being the same, the 1st service costs the same as the 5000th service, if no surcharge is added for multiple services during a 60 day service window. But if you price adding damage weighting when the item has critical weighing, the latter is a factor for the price (and vice versa).

If a tree didn't fall on a power line right by my house six hours ago, I could post estimates for a bunch of weapons and 10x plain gear.

Unless the slash fitting is counting as temp also and making an estimate unavailable. ok, checked this with other armor, no effect from fittings.

Also, when sharing quotes, please include all item properties. It will help with figuring out how much specific scripts/Properties are adding.

I'm not sure I agree with the Ensorcell part. barring any other properties (scripted maybe?), Mogonis' "a dark sigil-etched blade" should have baseline costs on those assumptions, so something is taking it from 110 to 386 if existing weighting does not matter.

it may be that ensorc doesn't matter at certain enchants. Still crunching numbers.

ok.. I'm rounding, but so far all numbers seem to show that the scaling is based solely on number of services, there's no script that makes the scaling worse.

After 5 Services, there's a roughly 25% upcharge (from Base). After 10 Services, there's a roughly 200% upcharge (from Base). After 15 Services, there's a roughly 250% upcharge (from Base). After 20 Services, there's a roughly 1000% upcharge (from Base)

So yes, once you hit the "fast" tier, you are paying 11x as much. The first 10 are REALLY efficient.

The sliding of prices for these quotes is irksome, the p/s/w scale already slides exorbitantly once we get somewhere to do something interesting, it just seems unnecessary.

I dunno. Krodera itself has no special properties implemented (other than you can't ensorcell it), but maybe GMs gave krodera a surcharge for some reason.

Rather than adjusting the Scaling aspect of it... I think that the scale would be much more digestible if they reduced it from 60 days down to 30 days. Doubling the number of resets is basically reducing the incentive but not ability to fast-track high end item creation.

Those KO flares add INSANE cost. I might bug-item them.

Adds are good that Cleric Blessing shows up as "perma blessed" to the system. I believe cleaning all temporary effects is a standard practice for any service.

Those KO flares add INSANE cost. I might bug-item them.

I would. My 6x grapple+KO gloves (with no other scripts, not ensorcelled) are quoted at a little over half what yours are. I'd expect an increase, but not as extreme as that with just 7x vs 6x and an ensorcell. The greater mood script may be inflating it, which would be a call to BUGITEM it.

fusion is a mechanically beneficial script and the price is not likely to change.

FYI, looks like they updated armor scripts. I only have Voln T1 but some in HoA said their Ethereal armor scrip pricing dropped as well. Here's mine now and before:
