WPS Chart:

How does this work? * At the blacksmith, you can add SP. (Up to 25 at Duskruin). * Look at the chart and find where 25 SP would be. (Between 20-30) * Since 25 is between 20-30, you're stuck at the bonus offered at 20. * Look to the left of the 20 SP row, it will have the number of PP you'll get. (2) * Look to the right of the PP column, and you'll see that at 20 SP or 2 PP, you'll have "Lightly" WPS weapon/armor.

If you already have a WPS weapon or armor. * Find the name of your padding level (heavily) and look to the right. * You'll see that HCP is either 9 or 10 PP. * Look to the right again, and you'll see that 9 or 10 PP is either 130 or 150 SP. * You'll be able to add 25 SP using the blacksmith.

Got 26 damage padding services performed on already crit-padded armor. Assesses now as "fairly" damage padded, which is not congruent with the chart posted above.

That's what I thought, too. Then I counted the success messages in Notepad++. Got 26 services.

Search: An old dwarven blacksmith takes your black scale armor from you and limps to the forge. It quickly returns, idly polishing it with a dirty rag as it hands it back to you.

26 hits.

When I ask him, if memory serves, says something about enough work has been performed, come try again later. I could get the exact message if you want.

also, I believe somebody said that assess always rounds up, so once you hit 21, it will be "fairly"

I hope they update assess to just give the level. The words always annoyed me.

A dwarven blacksmith assistant grumbles, "Your black scale armor has gone through enough, don't ya think? The smith won't be able to do much more with that anytime soon."

That's not good, they should be giving the summary again and show that you've used all of the service points available on that item.

I think the issue on this run is they are limiting the amount of services because they're still working on the scaling algorithm. Probably don't want to commit to anything yet.

I was honestly hoping the per-item limit was not going to be 25 (or 26, what have you) but rather, per invite. Such is life.

Is it 25 services per invite or per item? Can I do 15 services each on 5 different items, or is it a total of 25 per invite regardless of how I spread it out?

1 item inside the smithy per invite - 25 services on a single item this run of duskruin. so even if you only use 10 services on an item, thats your 1 invite. You can use all 25 on a single item, but even with a second invite you cant do any more.

assess values Assess moved over to using scale values and because of that, the gaps in between in between two assess ranks go to the higher reading even though the combat effectiveness has not moved up yet. I'll address this with my assess changes.

Kerl Voln and Ithzir scripts both seem to have gone down after getting the green light via "ask about special." Mine appears to have gone down about 12%. I'll assist about it.

Voln has, and is based upon how many unlocks the armor has. Ithzir hasn't yet, as it's still being reviewed.
